Our focus is on accommodating our students. We do this by offering a wide range of classes and times in which they are held.
During the first class, except for Elementare 1, students will take a simple test to be sure they are in the most appropriate class and to review the program of the previous course. If a student needs to change class, he or she can change during the first week of the course.
The IIS offers many different levels of advanced
courses. Over the years, we've noticed that it can be a challenge
for both students and teachers to determine which advanced class
is appropriate. A placement test isn't adequate; there are too many
factors to consider.
IIS is offering flexible registration for advanced
classes. We schedule a variety of advanced classes, but they aren't
numbered according to difficulty. A student can enroll in any advanced
class, and then consult the teacher during the firts class to determine
which advanced class is most appropriate. After enrolling in one
advanced course, in the first week, students may also try all the
advanced courses until they determine which one is the most appropriate
for them.
Students may make up for a missed lesson in another
class during the same week. As a courtesy, the office or the teacher
must be informed in advance.
The IIS also offers private language lessons with its teachers. Lessons are scheduled to meet the availability of the students and are held at IIS.
